Small Steps Projects’ Celebrity Shoe Auction gets underway on November 1

Here’s your chance to own a celebrity’s shoes – and to support a superb cause.

From Rod Stewart to Oprah Winfrey, scores of famous names have donated shoes to Small Steps Project’s Charity Shoe Auction on November 1.

Small Steps Project provides aid to children around the globe forced to scour rubbish dumps for items to sell. Not only does the charity provide the children with shoes, it also offers education and alternative employment – to take them away from the rubbish dumps forever.

Harry Potter actor Emma Watson offers an extraordinary pair of her Sergio Rossi stilettos (pictured above), while Barcelona star Lionel Messi has donated his signed size seven blue Adidas football boots.

Coldplay’s Chris Martin is a regular donator to the charity – now in its seventh year. This time around Chris is offering up his pair of dashing Adidas basketball shoes.

All have a starting bid of just £1.

Amy Hanson, the charity’s founder, says: "We are always blown away by the support that celebrities show us, but this year the response has been truly phenomenal.
