Donald Trump’s Ferrari to sell at Auctions America

A Ferrari once owned by President Donald Trump is going up for auction in Florida next month.
The 2007 Ferrari F430 F1 Coupe will be amongst the top lots in Auctions America’s annual Fort Lauderdale sale

Trump purchased the bright red Ferrari new in 2007, and registered it to his Trump Tower address in New York.

The car is powered by a 4.3-liter, 490-hp V-8 engine, paired with a six-speed F1 paddle shift transmission, and is capable of a top speed of 196 mph.

He owned the car for just over four years, during which time it accrued around 2,400 miles on the clock, before it was sold to its current owner in 2011.

Still with less than 6,000 miles from new, and with the recently added Presidential provenance, the car is expected to sell for $250,000-$350,000.

Trump’s collection of vehicles is known to have previously included a 1956 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud, a Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, and a custom-built 24 Karat Gold Orange County Chopper motorcycle.

Back in 2015, a 1997 Lamborghini Diablo formerly owned by the President was reported to have sold privately for $299,000.

"It’s well known that President Trump appreciates the finer things in life and this Ferrari F430 is no exception," said the auction house. "At the time of its release, it was one of the most technologically advanced performance cars on the market.

"To see a former or current President’s personal vehicle offered for sale is extremely rare. It’s highly likely Donald Trump is the only United States President to ever own a Supercar. This Ferrari F430 is very special and is sure to make an excellent addition to any collection."

The auction will offer more than 260 cars spanning over a century of automobile history – from pre-WWI veterans to classic American cruisers, muscle cars, vintage European racers and modern-day supercars.

Auctions America’s Fort Lauderdale sale takes place at the Broward County Convention Center on March 31-April 1.
