An ultra-rare business card signed by Apple founder Steve Jobs will sell later this month.
Jobs’s is one of the most sought-after autographs in the world.
This card, bearing a clear black ballpoint pen signature, is an original Apple Computer business card listing Jobs as Chairman of the Board of Directors, with the company’s Cupertino, California address and a telephone number Apple still uses to this day.
The card dates from the period between 1981 and September 1985, when Jobs held the chairman role, and features the iconic rainbow Apple logo designed by Rob Janoff in 1977.
Jobs was famously reluctant to sign autographs, making surviving examples extraordinarily rare and valuable. A near-identical card sold at auction in 2024 for $181,183, underscoring the premium collectors place on such items.

The card has this letter of authenticity with it. Jobs thought public attention was a waste of time and rarely signed for fans. Image courtesy of Just Collecting Auctions.
This example comes with an original notarised certificate of authenticity from The Spotlight Press, dated 1996, and is presented in an attractive display case.
Jobs co-founded Apple alongside Steve Wozniak in 1976, initially selling computers as build-at-home kits aimed at hobbyists. Under his leadership, Apple went on to revolutionise consumer technology with products including the Mac, iPhone and iPad, transforming the company into a global icon. Today, Apple carries a market valuation of $4.4 trillion.
Beyond his business achievements, Jobs is widely regarded as a foundational figure in the modern tech industry, and continues to inspire entrepreneurs and business leaders around the world. He died in October 2011 at the age of 56.
